Jewellery : When we started Rumour Jewellery in 2001 we found that the individual bespoke engagement rings we made were impossible to have professionally photographed before they went to their owners... so I had to learn to do it myself. A few years down the line and I am getting there, not too bad when you consider that I am still using the entry level Canon 300D most of the time for this stuff. A little bit of everything in my photography portfolio.

I specialise in jewellery and landscapes but you will also see that I love to dabble with portraits and machinery.... if it looks cool, I will photograph it. I try to always have a camera to hand as inspiration can come from anywhere.

Landscapes : A long time ago I began to take landscape pictures with my trusty Nikon 1001 35mm. Several cameras later and my excellent Canon 40D serves very well for increasingly technical work, much of it based around the rolling Devon countryside where I am partly based. HDR and Orton images are a fairly common feature of my photos but I still love black and white and the occasional traditional sunset shot.
